Interior Design House prides itself on its ability to deliver unique and high-quality products at terrific prices, but beyond that, it is the knowledge and service that their team of experts provides that is truly remarkable.
Marnie Warman leads the IDH team. With over twenty years of design experience, Marnie's clients now number well into the thousands. In addition to her individual clients, her advice is routinely sought by professional offices, corporations, builders, developers, municipalities and non-profit organizations. In the Burlington/Oakville area, she has been involved in many charitable and public design projects including: the Paletta Mansion; the Carpenter Hospice; and the Junior League and Appleby College Christmas House Tours. Marnie is a frequent speaker at various community groups, and is a former adjunct faculty member of the Mohawk College Interior Design Program. As well, Marnie has been regularly featured in the media including: CityTV's City-Line; K-Lite FM; West of the City Magazine; and the Burlington Post, where she contributed to their "Ask the Expert" series. Marnie has been honoured personally as a frequent winner of the Burlington Post Reader's Choice Award, in the Interior Designer category, and in 2000 was nominated for the Rotman School of Management's "Canadian Women Entrepreneur of the Year" Award.
The balance of the IDH team reflects a diverse array of talent and taste. Their broad and varied design experience, coupled with an in-depth knowledge of their product, creates an unparalleled shopping experience. This exceptional customer service experience that the IDH team strives to provide is the main reason that, for over fifteen years, IDH has been the consistent winner of the Burlington Post Reader's Choice Award in the Home Furnishings and/or Interior Design category.
